Designing or Architecture Process in MIS

Designing one of the most crucial processes in any proposed system. In order to construct a perform effectively, we must adhere to a precise system development procedure. With the help of an appropriate illustration, this tutorial explains the concept of design process and its essential processes. Let’s take a look at the topic and see how we may improve our MIS understanding.

Creating a management information system (MIS) is a methodical procedure which involves overall process. The following are the phases that are employed in MIS design:

    1. Identifying the issue
    2. Analysis
    3. Design
    4. Execution.
    5. Construction
      1. Identifying the issue

This is the first stage of the MIS design process. This step is used to determine the MIS design’s underlying problems. After the developing the system professionals have gathered all of the criteria and considered how to solve an issue, the designing phase begins. The investigation phase’s major goal is to examine the issues in order to design the suggested MIS. This stage is regarded as a preliminary survey of MIS design; it examines the system’s goals and objectives in light of the user’s requirements, with a focus on resources identification, financial analysis, and many more.

      2. Analysis

An assessment is a proper investigation into a certain issue. It finds solutions to all unanswered things such as what, why, when, and how. An assessment is a comprehensive examination of a system. Different modules of a system are discovered and their interrelationships are examined at this process. An expert is the individual who performed the research. The analysis has been conducted by an experienced professional person.

      3. Design

Design is a sketch or blueprint of a proposed system. It describes one or more components of a system and its relationship. The system experts are making design and describe the internal and external layout of the new system. The design describes the interdependency between the components of the system thoroughly using graphical methods. Commonly design has two categories –

        • Logical design – this design describes the abstract of a system
        • Physical design – this design relates to the system’s processes i.e. input, process, and output.
      4. Execution

The execution process begins when the specifications have been completed and the performance and improved has been completed. During this phase, all of the work is completed according to the actions that have been pre-planned. The major goal of this phase is to execute all of the components in the system in a structured manner such that all of the system’s goals are met.

      5. Maintenance

A decent approach to construct a process in such a way that, in the long term, if any updates are needed, they can be easily integrated in the system. Most of the time, following the successful system integration, if the system needs any necessary adjustments or updates, the system will not enable these to be implemented.
